It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Lou Collins of Georgetown, Texas, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ben Floyd Berly and Willie Lou Berly (Christian); her husband Don; her sister Carrye Beth Condray; her sons, Donald B. Collins (Stephanie) and David C. Collins (Brooke); and her grandchildren, Drew Collins, Katherine Collins, William Collins, Ben Collins (Abby), Sloan Collins Gonzales (Gage) and Boone Collins. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church, Georgetown, Texas.

“I am so sorry to hear about Ida Lou's passing. She was my second cousin. Her mother, Willie Lou was my father's (Rex Scott of Mount Vernon) first cousin. My dad died in 1991, and Ida Lou and my mom would always exchange Christmas letters, updating each other with family news. My mom died in 2017 and I took over from there.
