It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Verdell Miller (Georgetown, Texas), who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Miller and Elnora Miller (Sedwick). He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Wilkerson (Parker); his daughters, Donna Kay (Anthony) of Hillsboro, Texas, Etta James (Keith) of Hillsboro, Texas and Joyce of Hillsboro, Texas; his siblings, Johnny "Mac", Birdie and Bessie of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Anthony of Hillsboro, Donavan of Hillsboro, Devin of Hillsboro, Leslie of Katy, Dakota of San Marcos, Anika, Ebony of Hillsboro and Rebecca of Garland, Texas.; and his friend Marinda of Austin. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home (2900 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Rocky Hollow Cemetery (Georgetown, TX 78633).
