She was predeceased by : her parents, Roland E. Barbe and Christine Barbe (Koonce); her husband James Pickel; and her siblings, James Barbe, Helen Barbe Sutherland and Beaulah Barbe.
She is survived by : her daughters, Rhonda Vercher of Lufkin, Angela Bennett of Lake Charles and Camille Girouard (Kent) of Cedar Park, Texas; and her sister Eldora Gilchrist (Dickie) of Center, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
