He is survived by: his children, Jim Richter (Janis) of Overland Park, Greg Richter (Debbie) of Austin, Steve Richter (Marisa) of Lake Jackson and Kim VanDevender (Eric) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Lauren Strutz (Jason), Kristen Nelson (Ryan), Kate Duran (Jonathan), Beth Di Rico (Anthony), Steven Richter (Sarah), Kevin Richter (Catie), Jason Richter, Kyle VanDevender, Kelly Young (Gabriel), Ivan VanDevender, Marta VanDevender and Misha VanDevender; his great grandchildren, Travis Duran, David Duran, Leonardo Di Rico, Margot Di Rico, Eli Richter, Evan Richter, Jason Richter, Paige Richter and Ellen Young; and his sister Kathy Kerr (Ted). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - PIN Oak (732 FM2104, Smithville, TX 78957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (732 FM2104, Smithville, TX 78957).
