It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Belinda Merrill of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Willie Griffin; her husband Roy Merrill; her son Ricky Merrill; and her brother Roger Griffin. She is survived by: her mother Pearlene Elliott Griffin; her children, Cory Merrill (Kimberly Tornincasa) and Shawna Courville (Chad); her siblings, Brenda Griffin, Anthony Griffin, Debbie Griffin and Joann Beshirs; her grandchildren, Kyle Tedder, Maveric Merrill and Maxton Merrill; and her stepgrandsons, David, Kenneth and Steven Courville.
In lieu of flowers, she requested a donation be made to Texas Baptist Home for Children, tbhc.org, or Latch Missionary Baptist Church.
