He is survived by: his wife Betty Cason of Gilmer; his daughter Ashley Smith; his siblings, Molly Goss of White Oak and Mack Waldron (Demetra) of Seattle, Washington; and his siblings' children, Catherine, Rip Duncan of Tyler and Jimmy Goss of Irving. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
