We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2020, at the age of 103, Evelyn Dailey Johnson Nehls Ellison (Gilmer, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Dailey and Bethany Head Dailey; her son Paul G. Johnson; her grandson Eddie Herrmann; and her brother Cecil Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Johnson (Mary Beth), Annette Herrmann (Pete), Sandy Wilson (Darrel), Dianne Dismukes (Jim) and Brenda Duke (Randy); her grandchildren, Todd Johnson, Russell Johnson, Stacy Felipe, Darrellene Lindsey, Terri Jones, Chris Bedard, Tony Bedard, Kelli Sommers, Brandon Duke, Britt Duke and Bryce Duke; and her sisters, Pat Williams and Ruth Freeman. She is also survived by thirty great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Gilmer, Texas.
