He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Fant and Bedie Akins Fant; and his siblings, Burl Fant, Bernice Honea, Janie Monroe and Mildred Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Goodnight Fant; his son David Williamson; his stepson William Moss (Sarah); his daughter Debbie Groff; and his stepdaughters, Shonna Dalton (Jimmy Janway) and Billie Kealer (Ben). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
