Gloria Jean Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 87, Gloria Jean Thompson of Gilmer, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Leon Kennimer and Willie Cleo Burcham; her husband Gilbert Ray "Toad" Thompson; her son Ricky Ray Thompson; her brothers, Bobby Leon Kennimer and Billy Jeff Kennimer; and her sister-in-law Teresa Kennimer (Buford Williamson).
She is survived by: her children, Rex Thompson (Carol) of Winona, TX and Gina Estes (Agustin Camacho) of Center, TX; her sister Cindy Campbell of Magnolia, TX; her grandchildren, Heather Rollins (John), Carlos Johnston, Lyndsie Davis (William), Cooper Thompson (Madison) and Tiffany Johnson (Franky); and her great grandchildren, Karlye Johnson, Kahlyen Johnson, Georgia Rollins, Audra Davis, Kobe Johnson, Deuce Davis, Asher Davis and Delilah Thompson.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home - Gilmer (305 W Harrison St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Hopewell Cemetery (8020 FM 49, Gilmer, TX 75644).
