She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Don L. Spencer and Bernice Richards Spencer; her daughters, Marcia Fielden (Mike) and Amy McWhorter (John); her brothers, Mike Spencer (Carol) and Larry Spencer (Carol); her sister-in-law Merrilyn Spencer; her grandchildren, James Fielden (Sarah), Rachael Thurmond (Fritz), Colin Efurd (Brantly), Riley Coleman (Samantha) and Kaylin McWhorter; her great grandchildren, Keaton Fielden, Pierce Thurmond (Macaul), Tyson Fielden, Mary Thurmond, Kynna Rhoden, Nolan Fielden, Emmy Thurmond, Jaycin Fielden, Tate Efurd and Blaine Efurd; her husband James Johnson; and her brother Kenneth Spencer. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
