With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Don Richards of Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Richards and Jessie Shrum Richards; his son Jerry Don Richards, Jr.; and his siblings, Craig Richards, Linnie Weeden and Nell Sabrusala.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Henderson of Gilmer; and his daughters, Lisa Alford (Matthew) of Gilmer and Jenniffer Norman (Bill) of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
