He is survived by: his sister Ruby Smitherman (Claude) of Longview, Texas; his sons, Hunter Boyd (Kim) of Longview, Toby Boyd of Gilmer and Galyn Boyd (Carlene) of Gilmer; and his grandchildren, Shea Young (Jimmy) of Conway, AR, Crystal Boyd of Hallsville, Trent Boyd (Amanda) of Gladewater, TX, Shana Trussell (Jamie) of Collierville, TN and Shelby Rutland (Josh) of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
