She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Anderson and Joyce Arnold Anderson; her grandparents, Hollis and Irene Arnold; and her brother Dr. Mitchell Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Maura Holcomb of Boise, Idaho; her sister-in-law Barbara Anderson of Tyler; her sibling's children, Patrick Anderson of Tyler and Diana Anderson Tyler (Ben); her great-nephew Isaiah of Bulverde, Texas; her cousins, Scott Hunt (Marcie) of Gilmer and Dana Hunt Morgan (Brent); and her children, Collin and Kathryn of Palestine.
In lieu of flowers, you may honor Melinda by making donations to animal shelters or Traditions Hospice of Longview.
