He was predeceased by : his parents, L. J. "Jay" Finch and Florence Finch; his brothers, Johnnie Finch and Lonnie Finch; his niece Felecia Galloway Davis; and his nephew Alex Hemphill.
He is survived by : his wife Mable Finch; his daughter Maylea Andrews; his great grandchild Tru Serenity Haynes; his sisters, Willie Jones (Roland), Hazel Kirven, Shirley Finch, Nancy Moore (Nathaniel), Gracie Moss (Freddy Johnson) and Janice Pratt (Timothy Thomas); his nieces and nephews, Roland Jones, Jr., Dr. Michael Finch, James Kirven III, Eustacia McCawley, Sogunda Strange, Lonnie Finch, Jr., Reginald Finch, Herbert Pratt III and Leonard Pratt; his aunt Mattie Finch; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Ann Ray and Ima Jones (Jimmy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Piedmont Church of Christ (6420-6548 US Hwy 271 S, Gilmer, TX 75644).
