With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josefa Mederos (Dallas, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Arostegui and Josefa; her husband Hector; her siblings, Heberto, Hernilda, Angela, Cristina, Diego, Luis, Eduardo, Alicia and Raquel; and her granddaughter Erica Alicia Prablek.
She is survived by: her children, Diana and Efraim (Connie); and her grandchildren, Marc, Kristi, Michael, Efraim Jr., Katherine and Zoe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Singing Hills Funeral Home (6221 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Laurel Land Memorial Park (6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232).
