Harold Gleinser Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 82, Harold Gleinser (Goliad, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebald Gleinser and Mathilda Reitz Gleinser; his siblings, Clarence (Laura), Leo (Evelyn) and Pauline (Woodrow Bego); his siblings' children, Catherine Anne Gleinser (Leo), Patrick Allen Bego (Pauline) and Judy Gleinser Swartz (James); his grandparents, Charles and Marie Kling Gleinser; his brothers, Scouting, Jimmy Schulze (Rita) and Bobby DeLaGarza; and also, Joseph and Emma Foerster Reitz.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Bowman Gleinser; his children, John Harold Gleinser (Melinda) of Junction, Debra Gleinser Bauer (Clement) of Refugio and Gregory Paul Gleinser (Mary Mitchell) of Rockwall; his grandchildren, John Michael, Katelynn Grace (Greg) and Tank; his friend Paul Kovar; his nephew Keith Bowman; his grandsons, Thomas and John Michael Gleinser; his son Greg Gleinser; his son-in-law Clement Bauer; his cousins, Kolby Janssen, Carolyn Reitz, Joe and Honorary; and his friends, Sally and Lupe Salazar. He is also survived by dog; multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was a Charter member of the Tiger Booster Club and the Goliad Education Foundation.
