He is survived by: his wife Belinda Benavidez of Goliad; his children, Marcus Mariano Benavidez of Rockport, Melanie Faith Benavidez of Goliad, John Paul Benavidez of George West, Tina Louise Lopez of Orange Grove, Emily D'Ann Kapolnai of Las Vegas, Prisca Perez of Port Lavaca, Chantel Trejo-Schmidt of Corpus Christi, Jackie Lee of Goliad, Crystal Hinojosa of San Antonio and Suzanna Martinez of Victoria; and his siblings, Carlos Benavidez (Laura) of Corpus Christi, Geraldo "Jerry" Benavidez of Beeville, Rose Mary Baldwin of Chattanooga, Sarah Martinez of Beeville, Nohemi Benavidez of Corpus Christi, Eva Silvas (Leo) of San Antonio, Gloria Garcia of Encinal, Elva Ramirez of Cotulla and Norma Valenzuela of San Antonio.
