It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elida Cantu of Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Camrillo and Susana Flores Camrillo; her husband Adam Cantu Jr.; her sons, Daniel Cantu and Chris Cantu; and her brothers, Jesse, Rudy, Conception and David Camarillo.

She is survived by : her children, Lillian Molina (Cosme) of Gonzales, Sylvia Martinez of Gonzales, Laura Cantu of Gonzales, Robert Cantu, David Cantu (Dede) and Steven Cantu (Felica); and her siblings, Ruben Camarillo (Sonia), Lorenzo Camarillo (Patsy) of Gonzales, Mary Frances Carrizales (Joe) of Gonzales, Mary Jane Gayton (Alex) of Gonzales and Hermenia Longoria (Fidel) of Gonzales. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, family beach trips with all her kids and grandkids and supporting all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
