John Curtis Parsley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 86, John Curtis Parsley (Gonzales, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Larence and Johnnie Pearl Parsley (Hanks); his sisters, Bernell Parsley Tharp (Thomas Tharp) and Patsy Parsley Singleton (Odell Singleton); his sister-in-law Carmella J. Dimarco Parsley; his nephew Alfred Knolle Hermann III (Trey); his grandchildren, Jessica and Jonathan Coppinger; and his great grandchild Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Eileen Pierpont; his children, Donna Annette and Kevin Duane Petru (Farrah); his close friend Fletcher Johnson; his daughters, Debra Dragon (Peter), Deane Parsley and Charlotte Knesek (Kevin); his grandchildren, Brandon Dragon (Candice), Garrett Dragon, Jacob Curtis Dragon, Justin Dragon, Hannah Novosad Reynolds (Cody), Gracey Novosad (Peyton Raindl), Kameron Knesek, Maurin Knesek, Lauren Petru and Ryan Petru; his great grandchildren, Hensley and Hadalyn Dragon; his siblings, Lawrence Lee Parsley and Alice Faye Parsley Hermann (Bubba); his close friend Bobby Lee Cowey Wood; his grandsons, Jake, Kolten, Cody Reynolds and Peyton Raindl; and also, Kristi, Kenneth Carnes, Kyle, Tonya Haecker, Logan, Rory, Julie Tumlinson and Sam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Norma's House (Gonzales Regional Children's Advocacy Center) or Emmanuel Fellowship Church.
