She is survived by : her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Smith, James Edward McCoy, Janie Marie McCoy, Helen Joyce Lott, Luther James Lott, Bertha Mae Gaye and Julia Ann Fields; her children, Michael Taylor (Christine), Sheila Tealer (LaVan) and Kami Hale (Floyd); her grandchildren, LaShone Jones (Jeff), Dawana Thomas (John) and Stephanie Clark (Anthony); and her close friends, Dolores, Pablo Martinez and Katherine Taylor.
