With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LuAnn Shelton of Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on May 20, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to LuAnn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration LuAnn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her brothers, Hugh Shelton Jr. (Mary Ellen) of Gonzales, Tim Shelton (Dena) of Florence, Bobby Shelton (Wanda) of Florence and Jack Shelton (Erin) of Naples, FL.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hermann Sons Cemetery (3393 US Hwy 90a E, Gonzales, TX 78629).
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to Happy House through The First Methodist Church of Gonzales.
