Hardaway of Gonzales, Texas.; his son Bobby Joe Hardaway; his siblings, Carrie Hodges (Leslie), Marie Porter (Ernest, Sr.), Clara Hardaway, Bee Hardaway Jr., Jessie Mae Scott (Louis) and E. J. Hardaway (Mable); his daughter Nora Hardaway; and his friend Elizabeth Williams.
He is survived by : his wife Nora Green of Prairie Lea; his children, Shelly Hardaway, Braxton Cheatham and Bria Cheatham; his grandchildren, Shelli Dean Hardaway, Shelby Nicholas Hardaway and Joe Larry Hastings; his great grandchild Amelia Oeffinger; his sisters, Irene Spears and Georgia Mae Hamilton (Eddie); and also Wush. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and loyal friends.
