He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Egglestion Sherrod and Jessie Era Sherrod (Carr); and his grandsons, Luke and Lane. He is survived by : his wife Linda Sherrod of Gorman; his children, Cody Sherrod of Sidney, David Sherrod of Dimmitt, Dixie Bryan of Gorman and Lynette Kohl of Austin; his stepson Kevin Snider of Gorman; and his siblings, Bill Sherrod of Zephyr, Jack Sherrod of Amarillo and Linda Gatlin of Ennis. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four adopted grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
