It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rice (Gorman, Texas), born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Claude of Carbon, Mary Taylor, Louise Taylor of Cisco and Carl Rice of Cisco. He is survived by : his spouse Willo Bell Jones; his siblings, Tommy Rice of Gorman, TX and Dora Simmons of Cisco, TX; his children, James H. Rice (Kay), Jeff Rice (Maudine) of Richland, WA, John Curtis Rice (Barbara) of San Antonio, TX and Edith Grumbles of Gorman, TX; and his grandchildren, Mandy, Travis Ake of Dublin, TX, James D. Rice, Jeffrey, Noelle Rice of Richland, WA, Melanie, Joe Chiaradia of Richland, WA, Marissa Osborne of College Station, TX, Lonnie Grumbles of Pond Creek, OK, John William, Dede Grumbles of McCauley, TX and Curtis Keith Grumbles of Navasota, TX. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
