She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, John Thomas Brightwell and Minnie Brightwell (Blair); her nephews, Jackie Don Simpson of Gorman, Gene Westmorland of Abilene and Jimmy Brightwell of Sweeney; her stepdaughters, Judy Morgan (Tom) of Temple and Patsy Byars (Tom) of Idalou; her stepdaughter-in-law Jean Hoover; and her husband A. V. Hoover (Buddy).
