He was predeceased by : his parents, Chelsey Lee Brock and Essie Francis Cole; his son Dennis Brock; and his children-in-law, Louise Meadows and William C. David, Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Darlene Kohler and Darrell Brock; and his grandchildren, Lori Meadows, Donna Ross, Chad David, Russell David, Lynn Everitt and Jay David. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandson.
