We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2025, at the age of 86, Gayle Sargent Meyer-Nye in Granbury, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, JD and Bessie; her husbands, Max Meyer and Harold Nye; her son Mendel Meyer (Ginger); and her brother-in-law Stan Weinberg.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Meyer (Attice) of Tolar and Aaron Meyer (Terri) of Tolar; her adoptive son John Williams of Tolar; her grandchildren, Rusty Rushing, Angie Lasley, Avery Meyer, McKinley Rodriguez and Kyli Meyer; and her sister Delores Weinberg. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048).
