He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Mendez Alvarez and Elvira Molina; his nephew Jonathan Tristan; and his brothers-in-law, Ponciano Garcia and Joel Morales.
He is survived by: his wife JoLynn; his daughters, Jennifer Milgrom (Louie), Jamie Chavez (Hendrick) and Sarah Clawson; his granddaughters, Kayla Vanvleet and Kira Clawson; and his siblings, Larry Alvarez (Silvia), Lupe Morales, Rose Ramsdell (Jeffrey), Sylvia Garcia (Santos), Diana Houston (Bryan), Gloria Martinez (Fred), Irma Bordine (Matthew) and Sofie Jiminez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wiley Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Granbury (400 W US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX 76048). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Acton Cemetery (3629 Fall Creek Hwy, Granbury, TX 76048).
