She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Fought and Etha Fought; her husband John; and her siblings, June Curry, Harry Fought Jr., Phyllis Shaw and Gladys Peck.

She is survived by: her son Jay (Fiona McCormick) of Lubbock; and her brother James Fought. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
