He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Richard Garrett Sr. and Frances Jane Dougherty Garrett; and his brother Claude Henry Joseph Garrett. He is survived by: his spouse Baudelia "Della" Trinidad; and his granddaughter Lil'Lee Moon. He is also survived by his wife, one daughter, one son, five sisters, two brothers, one grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
