As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Russell Lionel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Russell L. Martin, Sr. and Janet Martin (Moore); his wife Sally Prince of Houston; and his sister Janet Martin Presley. He is survived by: his children, Russell L. Martin III (Janet) of Plano, Texas, Margaret Martin (Martha Muckleroy) of College Station, Texas, Murphy S. Martin (Axelinta) of Jackson, Miss. and Susan M. Harrington (Tom) of Baltimore. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grace Bible Church, Granbury, Texas, or to the International Leader's Scholarship at Dallas Theological Seminary.
