He is survived by: his children, Gerardo Martinez Jr., Monica Martinez, Amy Martinez and Lori Harper; his stepsons, Eddie Garcia Jr., Chris Garcia and John Mercado; and his sister Martha Elva. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.
