It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Maria Mirelez in Grand Prairie, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Mirelez; his parents, Guadalupe Mirelez (Father) and Maria Mirelez (Mother); and his sisters, Guadalupe Mirelez and Gloria Sanchez.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Mirelez (Gracie Mirelez) of Arlington, TX., Marcus Mirelez of Grand Prairie, TX. and Anne Hooks (Hilberto Hooks Jr.) of Hale Center, TX.; his grandchildren, Jorge Martinez Jr., Ashley Hidalgo, Joey Mirelez Jr., Bianca Mirelez, Jordan Martinez, Michael Mirelez, Colin Mirelez and Jairus Martinez; and his siblings, Lupe Mirelez (Anna Mirelez) of Cedar Hill, TX., Sonny Mirelez (Traci Mirelez) of Cedar Hill, TX. and Margie Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
