It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Jordan Richards of Grapeland, Texas, born in Taylor, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Richards and Velma Jordan Richards; and his sister Nelda Shipper (Bill). He is survived by : his wife Cindy Richards of Grapeland; his sons, Clay Richards of Frisco and Ty Richards of Grapeland; his grandchildren, Reese Jordan Richards of Frisco and Layne Avery Richards of Frisco; his brothers, Jim Richards (Frances) of Fisher, Douglas Richards of Centerville and Jon Paul Richards (Margarette) of Trinity; and his mother-in-law Billie Doyle of Austonio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Davis Cemetery (FM 227, Grapeland, TX 75844).
