Anthony Edmund Dimirack Jr. Obituary

Anthony Edmund Dimirack, Jr., 75, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away on February 4, 2024.

Anthony was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Goldie and Anthony Dimirack on October 9, 1948, and soon had a younger brother, Richard. He married Beverly Demchek on August 18, 1973, and one of the things Anthony loved most was living in Texas with his wife, warm weather and good friends.

Anthony served in the Navy, in Intelligence, where he earned a National Defense Medal and was Honorably Discharged in 1971. He then excelled as a business owner and casino consultant, and will be remembered for his hard work, and dedication to being an IT Professional for 50 years.

In Anthony's words, he lived his life "happy go lucky, never screwing anyone intentionally. Life is just a party and parties weren't meant to last.". Anthony stayed positive and happy, no matter what happened. Things that made Anthony laugh were great jokes and politicians, he loved the music of the Temptations and Chuck Berry, and he enjoyed traveling and collecting memorabilia.

Anthony's memory lives on in many family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Anthony will be laid to rest at the DFW National Cemetery on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Tony Corso wrote a sympathy message

“Very sad hearing of the passing of my friend Tony. We go back a long time. I met Tony when I was 18 years old in Jacksonville, FL. We were both at NAS JAX in 1968. I was a reservist in the Naval Air and Tony was real sailor in the Navy. We became very close even though we lived world's apart. I lived in NY and moved to CA and Tony came from Pittsburg and moved to TX. Amazingly we both have the same wedding anniversary on August 18th. I will miss the long distant phones calls that we shared.”
