He is survived by: his wife Donna Manley; his daughters, Brenda Stone (Randy) and Becky Walden; his siblings, Jerry Manley (Sue) and Jean Wade (Melvin); and his grandchildren, Kyle Stone (Avery), Kevin Stone (Rachel), Ashley King (Mitchell), Taylor Stone and Allison Walden. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

“I have looked up to Bobby Manley and respected him all my life. In 1964, when Bobby graduated from the Dallas Fire Department Training Academy, my family travelled with the Manley family in their 1960 Impala station wagon to the Torch Restaurant in Dallas to celebrate the graduation. I was only fifteen and so impressed by Bobby's dedication that led to his long career as a firefighter. He always worked hard when there was work to do and enjoyed his time at home and his family.”
