He was predeceased by : his parents, Maximus Lucero and Elnora Lucero; and his sister Stephanie Lucero. He is survived by : his daughters, Jesika Lucero, Ericka Amaya (Fredrick) and Natasha Purcell; his siblings, Jeannine Lucero, Russell Lucero of Leslie Thye, J. R and Steven Lucero; and his grandchildren, Rylin Combs, Jaydin Amaya, Aryssa Amaya, David Latimer, Brooke Latimer, Jordyn Latimer and Kristy Latimer.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lynch Funeral Service (4238 TX-34, Greenville, TX 75402).
