He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roddy and Bessie Roddy; his wife Betty Roddy; and his siblings, Kathryn Roddy, Helen Gatlin, Theda Harrell and Bill Roddy.
He is survived by: his sons, Neil Roddy and Jim Roddy (Jo); his grandchildren, Brent Roddy, Eric Roddy (Keeton), Leslie Clancy (Shawn), Stacy McCarthy (Russell) and Casey Starr (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Cole Roddy, Emma Roddy, Karson Clancy, Madelyn McCarthy, Jett Starr, Aaron McCarthy and Amelia Starr.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (934 Co Rd 4818, Wolfe City, TX 75496).
