He was predeceased by: his children, Billy Alford, Karen McKown Teresa Hawkins and Sidney Hawkins; his grandson George Kenneth "Tutt" Lattig; and his great grandchild Kayla Lodes.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hawkins (Middleton); and his children, Glen Alford (Sharon), Don, James Alford (Tami) and Sondra Conegia. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
