She was predeceased by : her parents, Alberto Lopez and Leanor Lopez (Avila); her husband Nestor Cortez; and her son Nestor Cortez, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Ramiro Cortez (Cassandra), Manuel Fernandez, Ester Salas (Joe), Patricia Escobedo (Ernest), Susie Medina (Leon), Norma Cortez, Layla Rodriguez, Tricia Flores (Paul), Casandra Govella (Ben), Amanda Hinojosa (Christopher) and Miranda Ortiz (Ruben); and her siblings, Alberto Lopez, Jr., Armando Lopez and Maria Hollran. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
