With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Franklin of Groesbeck, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin and Audree Franklin; his wife Christine; and his caregiver Christine. He is survived by: his children, Cary Franklin, Donald Franklin of Virginia, Ronald Franklin of Washington State, Teri Cole of Illinois and Barbara Franklin of Illinois. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
