He was predeceased by : his parents, Elvin Franklin East and Myrhl Woodall East. He is survived by : his wife Lona Zane East of Port Neches, TX; and his children, Donna Crawford (Russell) of The Villages, FL, Danna Perello of Port Neches, TX and Bobby East (Carol) of Lipan, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace Baptist Church in Groves, Texas.
