She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Eastburn; her grandson Jared McDonald; her son-in-law Bryan Gibson; her sister Ann; and her brother-in-law J. P. Thibodeaux.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Hutchins (Robert) of Broussard and Maxine Gibson of Groves; her grandchildren, Jason Gibson, Aaron Gibson (Savannah) and Janaye Boyd (Michael); her great grandchildren, Luke McDonald, Corlen Gibson, Riley Boyd, Colton Gibson, Jack Boyd and Charlie Boyd; her granddaughter-in-law Shanley McDonald; her brother John Burton, Jr. (Sherri) of Bridge City; her sibling's children, Joe Thibodeaux (Carmen), John Burton (Crystal), Shana Burt (Dylan) and Kristi Dourian; and her close friend Darrel Grudier.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (5601 39th St, Groves, TX 77619). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (3900 Twin City Hwy, Groves, TX 77619).
Her contributions to her community were marked not only by her service but also by the profound love and care she bestowed upon her family and friends.
