It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Drinkard of Groveton, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fannin and Lorine Fannin (Dunn); her husband Elwood Drinkard; and her brothers, Thomas, James and Jesse Fannin.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer Lee Drinkard, Mary Jewel Drinkard, Elwood Drinkard, Jr. and Susie Hammond (Glenn); her grandchildren, Elmer Drinkard, Jr. (Sandy), Daisy Brumley, Jamie Drinkard, Paula, Justin Hammond (Kaleena) and Sidney Fuchs (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Casey Drinkard, Kyle, Chase Isget, Ethan, Sawyer Drinkard, Stormy and Kirby Fuchs; her great great grandchildren, Blake and Ziggy; and her siblings, Charlie Fannin, Ivor Smith, Bobby Fannin, Billy Fannin (Celeste), Della Russell (Steve) and Ronnie Fannin.
