He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Allen Fling and Rosa Lee Walker Fling; his former wife Nancy; his wife Zonnie; and his siblings, Joe Allen Fling, Jr., Curtis Ray Fling and Florene Fling Nash.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Weldon Nash (Mary), Ron Nash (Joyce), Gary Fling (Vicki), Mike Fling (Leslie) and Kim Fling Wilson (Al).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Eubank (601 E Walnut St, Mabank, TX 75147). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home (601 S 3rd St, Mabank, TX 75147).
Memorial donations may be made to the Coyote Squadron, Commemorative Air Force, Corsicana, Texas.
