With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleva Geneva Chapman of Hale Center, Texas, born in Fannin, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 104. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cleva Geneva Chapman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her children, Wynelle Perry (Charles Perry) and Donald Chapman; her daughters-in-law, Rita Chapman and Phyllis Chapman; and her granddaughter Robin Chapman.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Lou Rastetter (Roy) of San Angelo, Michael Chapman of Fort Worth and Jerry Chapman (Marianna) of Lubbock; her daughter-in-law Linda Chapman of Weatherford; and her grandchildren, Richard Perry, Dana Ridge, Jeff Chapman, Monty Chapman, Crystal Blaskey, Tony Rastetter, Rochelle Cabrales, Kyle Chapman, Cole Chapman and Lauren Pizor. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

During her remarkable lifetime, she was present for the end of WWI, Spanish Flu, Great Depression, WWII, and multiple other conflicts, Presidential assassination, 9/11, and Covid, just to name a few.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Hale Center First Baptist Church PO Box 396 Hale Center, Texas 79041.
