With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Thornton of Hale Center, Texas, born in Littlefield, Texas, who passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Cora Johnson; and his sister Wilma Thornton. He is survived by : his children, Marlin Johnson of Lubbock, Maurice Johnson (Cendeca) of Lubbock, Marcus Johnson of Amarillo, Tamina Grant (Nick) of Lubbock and Tiffany Williams (Billy) of Lubbock; and his siblings, Paul Thornton of Colorado, Jerry Thornton of Albuquerque and Priscilla Thornton of Dallas. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
