She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Settle and Ada Townsend; her husband Melvin Shugart; and her siblings, Theresa Day, Cynthia Settle, Buck and Whitt Settle.
She is survived by : her daughters, Lori George (Tim) of San Antonio, Anglia Baker (Tommy) of Hale Center and Carrie Shugart-Houston (Michelle) of Raleigh, NC; and her brother Jack Settle. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
