Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Francis Buzek of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away at the age of 72, on March 19, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Buzek and Leona Gerlich Buzek. He is survived by: his wife Alva Vavrusa; his daughters, Rebecca Buzek and Lisa Buzek; his stepdaughters, Jennifer McDonald and Carrie McDonald; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Dennis Mathews and Braxton Vavrusa (Savanah); his great grandchildren, Kasen and Karsen; and his siblings, Betty Woytek (Harvey), Denise Pohl (Leslie), Melissa Leita (Ben), Genevieve Carroll (Jamie), Joe Buzek (Diane) and Gary (Jodi). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Helping Hands Fund at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville.
