It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Horton of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Klimitchek and Julia Haidusek Klimitchek; her husband Wayne Horton; her grandmother Dorothy; her brothers, Jesse Klimitchek, Franklin Klimitchek, Richard Klimitchek and Alton Klimitchek; her sister-in-law Jeanie Klimitchek; her son Wayne Edward "Chip" Horton Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Culak.

She is survived by : her daughter Julia Beran (Brian); her brothers, Carl Klimitchek (Patsy) and Daniel Klimitchek; her sisters-in-law, Joyce and Rose Klimitchek; her grandchildren, Brandon Beran (Samantha) and Brandy Beran (John McGinley); and her nephews, Richard "Buster" Klimitchek, Randy Klimitchek, Kenneth Klimitchek and Rodney Horton. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
